Oh, How I Love Spring
It's a couple of weeks before Easter and I'm wearing white sandals. I know. I've broken a cardinal rule. Now ask me if I care. Not one little bit. Today is the first day we've had warm weather in months and I'm celebrating the arrival of spring while it lasts. Capri pants, sleeveless shirt, sandals. I even painted my toenails and fixed my hair today instead of wearing it in my typical, bun-like, librarian do.
I feel pretty. Oh, so pretty. I feel pretty and witty and bright. And I pity any girl who isn't me tonight. Lalalalala.
Any day that the sun shines is a good one, but to have the warmth in the air as well is a particularly great day indeed. If only it would stay like this. So, I'll enjoy every moment of it that I can. Too bad I had to work indoors all day today. Such a shame. I'm having a picnic with my husband on the back porch for dinner, though.

I bet you look very pretty too! Hope you have a wonderful time on your picnic with your husband.
Take care,
Connie
I think spring has sprung down here in Kentucky also. I actually mowed the lawn yesterday which was one step ahead of the big thunderstorm we had in the middle of the night.
I'm sure you looked very pretty (painted toenails and all) in anticipation of your romantic picnic on the back porch with hubby.
Sounds like a break from cabin fever. Glad Spring is getting that far north. Here in florida, I cleaned the pool filter yesterday.
Ah, spring. I'm still waiting on winter. Hopefully I'll still get to see snow before June!
I've missed coming by here while I was moving. I'm getting back on track now, though. :)
